She is known as Pussy Goes a Hunting, taken from a 14th century pilgrim badge. Pilgrim badges have been found all over Europe and often depict vulvas or penises doing interesting things. It is thought they were used to ward off evil spirits.
As these are handmade and slab formed each one is slightly different.
Approx 250 ml, 8.5cm tall x 9cm diameter (3.25 inches x 3.5 inches)
These pieces are rolled out, hand-stamped and fired in Tuamarina, NZ.
